Hi All,
I am having issue with re connecting the brass nut that connects to the lower unit threaded shift shaft.
When I present the lower unit shift shaft to the brass coupler, it will not thread back on, I feel resistance followed by a clack sound as the coupler turns the whole shaft up through the power head / shift lever - this happens in either clock or counter clock directions.
surely it should turn on its own thread ?
