with reference to my previous posting I am still not able to source problem with engine sounding alarm .misfiring and cutting out at higher revs. I have fitted new plugs. stripped and cleaned both carbs . checked flow of water stream (which is very strong) the water is still fairly cool immeadiatly after it cuts out and the heads are not getting hot so I do not think it is an overheating problem . possibly it is an electrical problem! would an electrical problem cause the alarm to sound or does it need to be oil suupply or overheating to set off alarm! any help appreciated, many thanks Pat
