Just viewed a boat I'm thinking of buying which has a 25hp Yamaha outboard. Year 2000 with electric start. Thats all I know of the engine.<br /><br />The owner tells me it charges 2 batteries a starter battery and a leisure one. He claims it outputs around 16amps at normal cruising speed on the canals (4mph) is this possible from an outboard engine?
