I purchased a 07 yam 25ESH to replace my worn out old motor and put it on my old tiller steer 14 ft. fishing boat. I was told by the dealer at the time of purchase that I could put remotes without any trouble, that the motor was built to use with either tiller or remote. I am going to pick up a new G31448PF to put my new motor on. I have been told that I cannot use the 25ESH and install stik steer and yam controls on this motor. Can anyone tell me what all would be involved in adapting this ESH motor for stik and remote control. The engine is electric start. Thanks
