Yamaha 2stroke 60hp need advice.

Just purchased boat with this motor. Motor is an 04 and has a little less than 90 hours on it. Compression was checked as well as lower unit. This is my first outboard motor so I am looking for advise on how to keep it running like new. Carbs were rebuilt and water pump was replaced after 35 hours. Besides flushing, and changing the spark plugs, what other preventative maintenance can be done to prolong the life of this motor.

Probably the most important thing you can do to keep your Yammy in fine shape is get an Owner's Manual and a Service Manual, then follow their advice to the letter.
