Hi Boaters,
I recently started up my trusty 3 hp outboard after having it sit for a few weeks.
It has been running fine earlier in the season but this time I noticed the water was not coming out of the back that keeps it cool.
I thought it may have been a spider or small bug that clogged up the hole so I grabbed a paper clip and tried reaming the holes.
I do feel air being pushed out from under the motor / gas tank area but still no water comes out....does this mean the water pump is still working and the clog is lower or is the water pump bad?
any thoughts / guidance is appreciated.
Thanks!
