1990 4 hp. By the outside appearance it looks great but the telltale water coming out was too hot to touch. New impeller. Same deal. Decided to check the thermostat and look at all this corrosion! Pulled the head cover and was packed with salt. No water getting in to this area. Compression 150 psi and actually ran strong. Would you guys recommend replacing this head cover due to its condition? What about these exhaust plates?
