Yamaha 40 E Carb settings

I have a Yamaha 40Hp and would like to know how to set the three carb's needle valves<br />if you turn the needle valves all the way in how far do you need to back them out on each <br />carb? I appreciate the information <br /><br />1986 Yamaha 40E This engine has a oil tank in the engine compartment<br /> (2 Cycle oil)

Try 1 1/2 turn. <br />Then try to open 1/8 turn more each time. <br />Then try from 1 1/2 and close them 1/8 turn each time.<br /><br />/Bear
