Yamaha 40 vs 50

What is the difference in the 3 cyl/2 stroke 40 and 50? Is it just carbs or other differences. Are they good motors in general?

Same engine, the carbs are a little different, jets are bigger on 50

Reed valves, exhaust manifold, and carburettors are different.
