Hi all,

I have bought an 60 yamaha autolube engine that needs a repair cause the trim/tilt pump is broken.

I want to dissamble the trim/tilt unit wich is mounted with an big pin/axel where (I hope you guys know what I mean) the engine's turning point is;).

I have unboulted one side of it and tried to get it out with an rubber hammer but no succes yet.

I dont want to put to much force on the part before I am 100% sure this is the wright way and Im not forgetting something.

Does anybody knows the wright way to get this unit of?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Yamaha 60 powertrim/tilt unit removal question.

I have taken a look but it seems my model issnt listed, I should have a 1992 60hp FETO since the letter C is in the right corner of my model plate.

But I have seen other diagrams that may be usefull. thanks for the tip:)

Re: Yamaha 60 powertrim/tilt unit removal question.

I have a last question, I removed my powertrim unit and am taking it apart cleaning it up etc. The trim/tilt pump issnt there since the last owner said it was broke and had it taken of, Im searching for an replacement pump but am not sure witch one I need since Im not sure about the age of the engine.

The plate says: 60 Yamaha FETO, 6h2 S 150538 and in the right under corner there is a C and that should make it a 1992 engine but an other site told me it was a 1991 .

Can anyone tell me which year it should be? I found this site with pumps: http://www.propelledmarine.com/trim_motors_pumps_yamaha.htm and am not sure wich type I need.

Thanks in advance.
