Last winter I cleaned the carburetors of my 70 BETO / TR ('92) outboard, and put in new bougies and fuel filter. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to put it all back together until recently (and forgot to take decent pictures). Now the engine doesn't start. I want to check if everything is connected as it should be.
Since I bought the engine recently I'm not yet familiar with it, but putting together the carbs seemed pretty straight forward so for now I guess they are ok. Some things I would like to know:
1] The thermoelectric valve; there's a blue wire that goes from there and I'm not sure if it has to be connected to another blue wire at the back of the right side of the engine.
2] In which position does the red switch on valve/carb has to be, open or close?
3] Have some loose wires from the oiltank, which I suppose are not connected to anything? And 3 more loose wires (not on the pictures, black/orange/pink) that run to the trim/tilt unit, also not connected (trim/tilt works ok)?
