Yamaha 70B too much Autolube

I have a Yamaha 70B (2005), and recently, I checked the 2T oil injection function as per the service manual. It says 2.20cm3 +-0.50cm3 / 3mins.
Mine was 3.80cm3 / 3 mins for all cylinders.
Now I realise it's not a big deal, and that too much oil is better than too little, but I would like to get it down a bit. The manual doesn't say if, or how, the rate is adjustable, so, is there a way to do it ?

Cheers,

That motor must run at the autolube oil setting it was adjused to at the factory, not more, not less. What I like is that at idle the motor will burn much less fuel/oil rate than the usual 50:1 pre mix motors and foul plugs way less.

3.80cm3 for each of the three cylinders?

Was the oil pump lever in the full throttle position?

Seems excessive. Have you thought about doing a 9 minute test for more accurate results?

Were you using Yamalube?

I thought all Yamaha's used linkage from the carbs to the oil pump and it was adjustable. threaded rod

if it comes off the oil pump goes full on

Extract from the manual (and exactly as I did it):
1. Start the engine and set the idling speed at 1500 rpm by adjusting the throttle-stop lever.
2. Remove the oil-pump link-rod and fix the oil-pump lever in the full-throttle position.
3. Measure the oil discharge from each port for three minutes using a measuring cylinder.
Note: Oil temperature: 10-30˚C

I didn't actually check the oil temperature, but as it was a warm day, I assume it was in that range.
I haven't tried to do it over a longer period, but may do if I can find a way of adjusting the output.
I am using Quicksilver TC-W3 2-Stroke Oil, and realise the viscosity will not be exactly the same as Yamalube, but I can't see it being so different as to allow the pump to deliver nearly twice as much oil.

Cheers,
