Yamaha 70hp T&T fix on 90hp yamaha

Will a early 90's 70Hp yamaha power tilt and trim fix on a 1997 90hp yamaha. If so can you remove the power tilt and trim with out taking the motor off the boat.

I think it goes there but I'm not 100% sure.

The old trim-motor is an 3-wire motor and the newer is a 2-wire motor, so you have to change the trim relay too.

It's easier to take the whole motor off the boat, because the trim is in between those clamps, and you have to take them apart to get it out.

Thanks for the info Thefin. The 70hp T&T motor has a 2 wire 1 green and 1 blue. So I have to pull the motor from the boat to change it out . Oh yeah are they interchangeable with 70hp and 90hp yamaha.
