Yamaha 90tlr carb sync

Hi

I've just cleaned the carbs on my yamaha 90tlr and would like to check that they are in sync, I'm guessing there is a right way and a wrong way to to this.

follow the steps in the Yamaha service manual for that motor

99YAM40, I'm curious which manual shows the sync. Since I also have a 90TLR, I recently obtained the Yamaha service manual, already had the Yamaha operator manual. Neither has a procedure for the sync of the carbs. I found that the Yamaha manual was quite vague with regard to almost everything, as compared with OMC service manuals. Is there a better service manual than the Yamaha manual? FYI, my Yam svc manual is 18616-02-05.

Ooops, guess I was looking under Fuel System for the carbs linkage stuff. You're right on the Periodic Adjustments. Thanks for the info.
