Yamaha alarm coming on.

I have a Yamaha 30 elrp. Water pump repaired new thermostat. Alarm was coming on before I did the work. I can run for about 5 min then alarm sounds and goes into limp mode.The stream is strong. I shut down and restarted no alarm while idling. Stream water is luke warm and I can put my hand on the head. It feels very warm but not hot to the touch. I know the alarm comes on when overheating or the oil is low. The oil is full and the stream is not hot. Where do I look now???? Thanks

Ok, let me try something different. Motor is a 1991 model. Can anyone tell me how to test the oil injection system. i will try that first then tear the heads off to check for corrosion obstruction. tHANKS.
