I recently bought a boat with a 96 Yami C150 on it. The prop that was on it was kind of old (original one) and had been reworked many times so I wanted a new one. I had fished in the boat several times before I bought it and a few times after I bought it. After putting on the new Solara prop(same pitch as original one, 19) I could hear some gear lash noise when it is engaged in gear and just barely above idle speed. It goes away at 10% throttle or more and the guy I bought it from went out with me and said he had never heard it before. I had to send my new prop to get straightened  so I put the old prop back on and the noise went away. Do you guys have any ideas? My only thought is that the new prop is a lot bigger than the old one(as far as diameter) and that it may be putting more drag on the gears. Thanks...
