Yamaha controls compatability

I currently own an 18 foot Westcoaster Bayrunner and an 18 foot Duckworth Advantage classic. Right now i have a 2006 50 hp Yamaha on the Duckworth that i would like to put on the Bayrunner. I then want to put a 100hp Yamaha on the Duckworth. My question is, are the wiring harness and control linkages the same for both size motors or will I need to buy new controls with the 100hp. Any help would be appreciated.

depending on the year its about 100%, if both are near the same year 04-06 its no worries
some of the older tachs will require an adapter harness.
