Yamaha Exciter Instrument Lights

I own a 97 Yamaha Exciter jetboat. Does anyone out there know if the tach and speedometer gauges for this model have lighting? I have the owner & service manuals, neither reference it. I'm embarrased to admit I can't recall whether they've ever worked, as I don't use it a lot at night. It seems rather strange that they would not have lighting. Of course my next question will be if anyone has troubleshooted them?

My 1998 has lights for the gas and speedo but not sure about the tachs. The lights go on when I put on the nav lights.

I have a 1998 Exciter, all the gauges jsut seemed to stop working the other day , I hit the little breaker buttons and nothing .... any one have any ideas?

My '99 Exciter 270 has lights on all guages. If they stopped working and you checked the fuses and wiring, a small investment in Faria gauges ($150 for the 4 pack of Tach, Speed, Fuel and Volt, which you do not need but can be easily installed and another Tach if you have dual motors) look and work better.
