I am shopping for a new 4 blade stern lifting prop and found one that fits a F150. It is a 13-3/4 x 18P. It is not shown as fitting the F100(F90) but it should fit if the gearcase diameter and hubs are similar? Can anyone tell me if the F90/100 and F115/150/225 props are interchangeable?

It is going on a 20' (19'8") Seacraft. 1500lb hull, no T-Top. The motor isn't installed yet.

Re: yamaha F100 to F150 prop differences

It depends on what brand and model the 4 blade prop is. Very generally speaking, a 13 3/4" prop on the 4 3/4" (F150) gearcase is an OT (over and thru) exhaust prop. At low speed some exhaust flows around the prop barrel and vents the blades for a better holeshot. Once going the exhaust flows thru the prop's barrel.

That same prop on a 4 1/4" (F90/100) gearcase will be a thru hub exhaust only. Both propshafts are 15 spline.

Thanks! It is a Yamaha brand polished stainless prop. The MAR-GYT4B-V6-18, I think. A "Performance 4-Blade" model. From their description I am not sure if it offers much "stern lift", which I am looking for.
