I'm trying to connect a Yamaha F115 to a Yamaha 703 control box. I have one end of the control cables connected to the control box with the ends threaded about 3/4 the way into the thread (you can't see them coming out the end). At the engine side I'm almost 1/2" short to connect the ends to both the throttle and gear shifts to their respective connection points. The anchor points on both the engine and inside the control box are immoveable, I can't figure it out - any words of wisdom?
