Yamaha F115 vs Suzuki DF115

Not to start a big debate, but I'm re-powering and am trying to decide between a Yamaha F115 and Suzuki DF115. From what I've read it seems to be a toss-up between the two. I'm leaning toward Yamaha because I have a dealer 1/2 mile from my home who is very good. Nearest Suzuki dealer is 30 miles away. All opinions are welcome!

The Suzuki is over 10kg lighter if this is makes any difference.

Do you know if either dealer gives better service? Having somewhere close to take the boat would be a real bonus if other factors are equal.

I’m currently running a Yamaha F70 on my boat and have been happy with the performance so far. That said if Suzuki made a 70hp of the same weight as the Yamaha I’d be in the same position as you. I have no particular preference for one motor over the other. If no one else gives you a good reason to chose you will be left with price, distance to travel and reputation of the dealer.
