Re: Yamaha F90 and Interfacing with Lowrance
Those values need to have a place to be written and saved. I am not sure if the 522C has memory. I bought a LMF-400 guage and hooked it up to a 2006 Yami F115 with the EP-20 Yami Wire. It worked flawlessly but it would not store Fuel Used, Trip fuel used, and fuel remaining. The just blinked. I ended up purchasing the memory storage module , an EP-85R, I believe. Lowrance does not sell them outright but you can buy one from evinrude for around $63.00. The evinrude part number is 763704 and they call it a Fuel memory Module. It seems the Evinrude I-Command gauges and components are nothing but the Lowrance stuff rebranded. Once I put that inline on the NMEA 200 network those values stopped blinking and were recorded and kept. If the 522C has the memory storage capacity then it should work. Email me if you have any questions. I may be able to help.
