Yamaha gauges won't SYNC. HELP

2001 Twin HPDI 150's. What is the wire sequence and colors for the Tachs to connect to the Fuel Managment Gauge to show SYNC? I seem to have something mixed up. The wiring diagrams are very confusing and don't explain what each wire goes to, just shows a jumbled up confusing mess. The SYNC worked before, and then I rearranged the wiring in the console to clean things up, and now, no SYNC.

from the FMM, green goes to stbd tach green, green/white goes to port tach green.
FMM,1 tach and the speedo must power up from 1 keyswitch.
