KEN I feel like I owe you an apology!! These guys at the repair center seem to be reluctant to try very hard to locate or call for parts or help for the parts . SO today I RELUCTANTLY gave them your business number. I hope they will show at least a modicum of the gratitude that I plan to bestow upon you. I'm fast approching my wits end on this deal!!!!!!!!! REPEECTFULLY, BART SR.

Dang, frigging Yamaha I/O's. At least you have the parts for yours. I have one back in the shop now that I'm ready to pull what's left of my hair out on. Dang thing came from Ft Walton with them just thinking it needed a drive couplier. Yeah, right, like there wasn't a reason the couplier gave up the ghost. The outdrive was full of water and the bearings froze up. The housing looks like it came up from the Titanic and the corrosion was holding hands to keep it together. Some of the parts I have on hand, some Yamaha has and some are non existence. I have a used lower unit I could lay on him but he'll have a heart attack, then I still have to rebuild the upper. I still have to convert the drive couplier on the flywheel. Oh well, there goes his children's college fund. As for the guys working on yours Bart. I understand where they are coming from. They don't want go where no man has gone before. At least no man from their shop.

KEN U DA MAN!!!!!!!!!! I did SERIOUSLY consider sending my unit to you but SILLY ME actually thought it could be taken care of here. However in the future (HEAVEN FORBID) if I need any other service I will surely check to see if it can be handled here and if not I will surely be sending YOU a large package for repair!!!!! In the meantime if you would E-MAIL me your address and the number of employees you have I will send Y'ALL a treat package as a DOWN PAYMENT on what I feel will be sufficient restitution for your assistance during a difficult time. You too TRENT!! With the info I got from the shop today I may be back on the water in about TWO WEEKS? SINCERELY AND THANKFULLY.....BART (LANDLOCKED SR.)

Re: YAMAHA I/O PARTS (CAPT. KEN)

I have a shop of 433 employees so it better be a big box. Naw, its just me and the wife. Gave up the hiring of employees years ago and found life to be much happier. Had the wild idea when I built my shop 20 years ago that you had to hire a bunch of folks so you'd look like a business. After 12 years of scraping money up every week to pay the hired help, I had a better idea. The wife would run the office and I'd sweat in the shop. Seems the money got better and the ulcers went away. Nelson Marine, 2416 Thomas Dr, Panama City Beach, Fl 32408

KEN I dont know if these 6 or 8 places I called around here would have any parts available but most of them are salvage and used/rebuilt stuff so I will call tomorrow if you would send me the model number and such.I'm not sure of what they would have because I only asked about my own. I will be more than happy to check them out.THANKFULLY AND RESPECTFULLY BART(LANDLOCKED) SR.
