I have just installed the Cobra Jet Steering package on my 2006 SX 230 HO and WOW what a difference in how it handles. Control of the boat was alway difficult at slow speeds and around the dock. No anymore, this steering package installed onto the jet out ports gives control this boat was missing. It also manuvers and cuts better at fast speeds. Yamaha should install this steering package as standard on all there boats. Best money I have spent on my boat.

I am contemplating purchasing a 2007 AR230 but had trepidations due to the jet system (steering) and fuel consumption (i've heard that this boat might run through all 50 gal's in 8 hours). Is there any truth to these ideas? Would you purchase one of these boats again?

Maybe it is not convent or too expensive for them to install on their boats.
