yamaha p200=12 hp 2stk. running rough

this outboard has been a faithfull pall for many years it now seems to have given up the ghost it will not tick over but runs ok at higher revs unfortunately without its usual power, I have noticed some burning discolouration on one of the cylinders,
anyone any ideas?????????

It overheated and you toasted a cylinder or more. Time for a compression and spark test.
