Just recently bought this boat went out twice and it ran fine, and on the way back in it went into a limp mode of sorts. my buzzer was not going off either for overheating or low oil. any ideas?

are you sure the buzzer works? do you have any gauges that will tell you anything?

Not sure if a 91 50 tiller would have a buzzer, so you need to be looking at both overheat and low oil to rule them out

i do have a buzzer. i disconnected it and hooked it to 12v, it clicked so i persuaded to work again. so its buzzing when the key is on and if i unground my oil level unit it stops buzzing. so im going to do a resistance check in the morning.
