Re: Yamaha Rhino 660

It uses the same basic package as the 660 Grizzley. Shouldn't have the overheating issue like the Grizzley.
I have a 400 Kodiak, rock solid, good machine. I have ridden the 660 Grizz and it was ok, I just don't like the Independent Suspension on a sidehill. Seemed to be a little too much roll.
Power, capability.....Awesome. Put some ITP MudLites on it and go have some fun.

AK Chappy

Re: Yamaha Rhino 660

I ride suzuki's and have a friend at the next camp who has the rhino. Nice machine. I would suggest (depending on where/how you ride)skid plates, winch (bigger the better) and yes the mud lites great tires.

I have 2 machines one solid rear axel and the other independant. They are both fanntastic but they do negotiate trails diferantly.... with the independant rear you maintain more ground contact and have more traction.

Have no experince with this maching, but do have the old style Grizzly and had a Polaris Ranger.
The Ranger was tough and would go anywhere you were brave enough to point it.
It was the 6x6 though.

Just my .02 worth.
