Yamaha to Evinrude fuel connection

Anyone knows if my Evinrude 9.9 can be modified so I can connect my Yamaha fuel hose to it? Would be ideal if I could have common connection to both engine.
Now I have a Yamaha C85 and a spare Evinrude 9.9 in case of badluck.

Is the fuel plug on the 'rude removable? if so, you could maybe replace it with a yamaha one from a smaller motor. or, sell the evinrude and get a yamaha 9.9

Simply put the correct Yamaha receptacle on your evinrude.Not hard to do .All my non omc motors over the years were converted to accept omc lines
