Hey all, I have found a source for a new 2008 25hp Yamaha 2 stroke short shaft and another source for a mercury 25hp short shaft sea pro. Motors will be going on a zodiac. The new Yamaha is only $400 more ($2400) than the 2 year old Merc. Current plan is to buy the Yamaha as I like new and yamaha has a good rep in the area. Just want to make sure there are no hidden issues with this year or motor.
FYI. I know the advantages of 2 vs. 4 stroke. Want 2 stroke due to weight issue to keep boat portable and there are no restrictions in my area yet for 2 stroke engines.
