Yamaha Wont Turnover

I have a 90 TLR and when I crank it, it wont turn over. I think I got good power in my battery, but it just wont turn over. Where should I start troubleshooting? Thanks

When you say it wont turn over, do you mean the starter doesnt spin the motor or it will not start?

Also, a little history may be helpful. what if anything did it do the last time you used it, have you done any work to it recently?

It wont start. The only work i've done recently is that I replaced the water pump.

Go to the Engine FAQs Forum, txcop. Do "Outboard won't start".

Let us know what you find.

Why? did it overheat? Does it have fuel, spark, compression, ect....
