I'm a new poster here on iboats, but a longtime reader. I've searched for an answer to my problem, but can't seem to find the answer.
I've got a 2003 Century 2600cc with twin Yami F225's. I bought the hull as a stripped, insurance recovery and rigged it myself (and the help of my loyal crew). I got a deal on a pair of F225's with less than 500 hours on them. The gauges that I bought with the engines all worked fine for a month or so, and now the fuel level on the Yami speedo goes to full when the ignition is turned on. I pulled the sending unit, checked the resistance, got 245 ohms and 33ohms, so I'm sure the sender is good. I've checked all wires for continuity and everything is fine with the wires. Could this be an issue with the gauge? Is this a good excuse to go ahead and get a fuel management gauge instead?
