Yammy plugs ... NGK ... Others ...

Wondering if anyone has had good results with plugs other than the NGK spec'd by Yamaha for their motors. At least my motor calls for NGK. Are there Denso equivilents or Champion, Bosch? Any experience with different brands ... would like to hear. Also, my plugs have the crush type washer and wanted to know if the other brands use a different washer that's more reusable/removable?<br /><br />Thx -SP

I'm a "Champion man", and they do cross reference to just about all NGK plugs.<br /><br />HOWEVER, I have always run 4-strokes, and they are a different animal. <br /><br />I would stay with the recommended plug, unless you get some first hand advice from someone else that has tried it, if it were my motor.

I have learned this. If it is yamaha- ngk. Omc - Champion.
