year and any info on evinrude 9.9

ive just got an evinrude 9.9 hp outboard and would like to know its age and also about any electrical output and connector availablity this engine has a connector with three pins, the model number is 109863b and the serial number is b011230 any help or info would be much appreciated

hello ! right ive read the engine plug stamp the large number is b11230 and the smaller number is 109b63b <br />the other question is this -i have a 3 pin connecter two yellow wires and a yellow and blue wire are attached to it , wots positive nand negative and is the third wire for a cut out? oh and thanks for replying to my last question !

oh i see sorry to be cheeky but could 1979 be wrong ??? the reason i ask is the engine looks newer ! also on its case it has firepower ignition on it . the connector thingy only has the female part so thats why im trying to find out about it because i dont want to short anything lol !
