i own an old evinrude outboard. its a 25hp electric start big twin,#25916-07272. i wanted to know what year motor it is and what the proper fuel mixture is.
DJC, it is a 1954. <br /><br />Originally the mix was 16 to 1 on that using SAE 30 non-detergent.<br /><br />Use Good quality TCW3 oil, then you can go to 24 to 1 safely
