year and size of my old evinrude?

Serial number 15014-54716. Does anyone know what size and year this motor is? I was told it was a 15 horse 1965 when I bought it. I think that might<br />be close, but not percise.

It is a 15HP. However its a 1955 year model.

Just for some of yall that would like to know...This is one of Capt. Ken's boats and this is his girlfriend. Makes you wonder about him now!

He has to add ballast on the starboard side when she goes out on the boat!
