Year and Value

I have an old 3 hp Evinrude Serial number 303051543. Can anyone tell me the year and approximate value.

the motor is a 1959. The value is what someone is willing to pay for it. I just picked up a 1985 Merc. 4.5hp in excellent condition for $325 Cdn. Based on that, I would have to guess yours is worth $100 - $250 based on age and power. You may find someone who is interested in old motors will pay more.

Thanks for the information. I was more interested in the year than the value.
