year of Chrysler 8HP

Hello, I have a Chrysler outboard 8HP engine. It has CDI ignition. The model is 82H8-5 and serial is 1799. I am looking for what year the motor is? I am told 71-79 but I am looking for a specific year if possible. Thanks

Not sure about the -5 part but the 82H8 is from 1978
