Hoping to get help with year of and model of Crestliner. Any help would be appreciated. Stamp on side of boat says 710-1968. I believe a 710 is a Viking? 1968 is the serial number?

Not real sure yet. I may just use it as is or paint it up camo to duck hunt out of it? Not real sure what it would cost to restore it back to original. Could always restore back to original later huh?

Keep the classics classic!

There are a million other cheap aluminum boats out there you can chop up or paint any way you like.

Sure it's your boat and you can do what you want but just think how cool it is that a little boat like that has made it 54 years and counting.

My old Crestliner gets all kinds of great attention. I can't wait to restore it and really watch it shine.

The motor is a 1960. Likely original.

Look at it this way - if you had a 1950's car that was "sporterized" it would be worth a few bucks. But an unmolested '57 Chevy is worth thousands.

You can buy any old aluminum boat and camo it. If thats what you want, why not sell the Crestliner to a collector that will preserve it for the future.

I had a '68. It definitely isn't a '68. Most likely a '59 or'60.

What would you do to it? Re-paint it? Redo the dash and seats? Of course windshield?
