Year of Johnson Seahorse

I have a 9.9hp Johnson Seahorse, Model # J10ELCID and Serial # E5523629. I was wondering if someone could tell me what year motor this is. Also is a 50:1 fuel/oil mixture good or should it possibly be a 32:1? Finally where would be a good place to get a manual for this motor? Thanks for the help.<br /><br />Mike

Sorry to bump an old topic, but this one had the closest model number to mine (I've searched a lot of them).<br /><br />My model # is J10RCID, SN C8109376<br /><br />From the model number (and the info above) it's a Johnson, 9.9, rope start, 1981 and I have no idea what the D means.<br /><br />Is this correct? I hope so as I'm going to try to find a manual for it on Ebay.
