i need to know the year of a 50hp merc ser#4415705--having problems with it at full throttle. runs fine for a few minutes then it dies down. if i have someone squeeze the ball it will run again--i'll take any help i can get. thanks

just replaced fuel pumps on both carbs and cleaned carbs this morning and still doing the the same thing. also replaced remote tank and fuel lines but still no luck--any advice would help thanks

Is there an air leak anywhere in the system? (ie: where the connecter enters the tank, bx the two connecters there, where the connecters meet at the engine, or where the fuel lines meet in the engine? I have a '73 and it did the same thing, I just had to get a new connecter at the tank end because it was leaking air.<br />Eric
