Year of my bayliner- (im an idiot)

I just bought an 18 foot bayliner capri, and am confused about the year. I was told that it was a 1988 along with the force outboard but i am not sure if that is true or not. I tried searching the HIN but it didnt work right. The number on the hull is BLIA34CGH586. The motors model number is 1251x6a and the serial is 1458. also if it is helpful the boat is white with blue and red pinstripes while the force is white. i didnt think these were the colors of the 1988 edition, i have only seen them on 1986. i could be wrong though. i truly feel like an idiot as i do know a decent amount about boating, so any info you have would be helpful.
