How about all these waterpump, ignition and fuel pump questions? Or VRO questions? <br />All questions about fault diagnosis, winterizing and so on? We can't have that either. <br /><br />Let's skip the first steps: determine the year, get the manual and order the parts. Right?

Hi, GeeGee.<br /><br />We are here for boaters who don't know something and want to know. That means novices as well as experts.<br /><br />Unfortunately, many of them are not computer veterans either, or they would simply do a search and have their answers.<br /><br />If we discourage new boaters and new members from asking questions that you seem to feel are too basic we wouldn't be the best site on the internet.<br /><br />Now, suppose we turn your idea around and propose a forum for experts only? Would you go for that?

Good point, JB. I'm one of the newbies with limited experience, and I don't mind reading repetitive posts to get to the one that helps me.<br /><br />As for the expert board, count me out. This one's plenty complicated with all this experience at hand.<br /><br />And guys, thanks for the help over the past several weeks!
