Appears to be a 1986 motor, but as Laddies said a HP would be nice to know to confirm that.

Must be a 1985 as the starting number in 86 was A946441

Laddies... just out of curiosity, where do you get your year/serial cross reference? I've yet to see the list I have point me in the wrong direction, but apparently it must be incorrect in this case. I'm still showing it as an 1986 motor (starting s/n A173762)

Are you tied into Merc data direct?

AMD, I am useing Mercury build lists for the harder to find engines but simple ones, most comeout of the Sierra or ABOS books.
