Hi Everyone...<br /><br />I am trying to research now for the possibility (and hopeful eventuality) of my husband and I selling our house and moving onto a houseboat. The problem I find is that I cannot find any information on the web for year-round mooring of houseboats in Illinois. I also don't know if freezing waters can damage the boat (I assume it is a probability but there may be steps that can ameliorate the problem), the approximate cost of mooring fees, how often the boat needs to come out of the water for maintenance and/or repairs (after all, we would need to stay elsewhere while maintenace is being performed)...<br /><br />Does anybody have any information or at least a referral source? Thanks so much
