Yellowish Fluid leak on Outdrive after pulling from water

I just bought this 1997 four winns with Volvo Penta 7.4Gi and SX Cobra out drive. When I pulled boat from water I saw this liquid coming from out drive. Does anyone know what this could be leaking and what I need to do in order to fix this? Pictures are posted as well. Thanks for your time.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... That appears to be a gear oil/ water mix,....
The drive needs to be resealed,.....

Thanks for the reply, first day out and of course this happens. Would that be a top reseal? (Just want to use correct terminology) Also do you know where a good place or website to find parts for this job?

There are multiple places it could be leaking. It's hard to tell from the pictures. It could be the upper gear case cover or the shift cover. You need to have the drive pressure tested to confirm where it's leaking.

the good news is that is a volvo drive
the bad news is that its leaking fluid like a sieve

Thank You for all the help and information. I just ordered the upper drive seal kit and hope this will solve the leak.
As far as pressure testing drive is there directions for this some where? Wyoming doesn’t hardly have anything in regards to boat repair.

I lowered the motor and saw where gear oil is coming from. Resealing top should fix this leak correct?

I would try that first. however drain everything, pressure test and vacuum test to make sure you only have the one seal leaking
