First of all I would like to say thanks to all who gave me advice on transom replacement. I could say thanks a hundred times and that would not be enough. Your help and knowledge proved to be invauable. I just put the last rivets in the seam of my boat and set the engine back on. I really had doubts as to whether I could repair this or not, but I did. It took me two weeks of after work working, 3 gallons epoxy resin, 120 sq. ft. carpet, 3 sheets plywood, lots of fiber matting, a little blood (yes I said blood!) sweat, and maybe a few tears. The end result was a transom the should be in the boat long after I am gone. I also covered the entire floor with resin. And I had to replace the wood that runs the length of the boat and ties the sides in with the floor. I know I may sound long winded, Its just that I am so **** proud of the job I have done. This is my first boat, and the first time to work with fiberglass. THANKS TO ALL!!!!!
