Once again we have a whole series of "what prop do I need" posts with little or no data to go by. Come on folks, read a few posts so you know what's needed in order to provide some realistic responses. Having to repeatedly explain this gets really annoying. We are very happy to help you but its impossible without something to go on. If you don't have a tach or a way to measure speed, your guess is as good as ours. And if your engine is not performing, there is a pretty good chance the prop is not at fault. Get the thing tuned up, make sure the hull is clean, that you are not lugging around a couple hundred pounds of water soaked foam, and then worry about props. Once again, here's what's needed.
What brand, year and HP engine:
Current prop diameter, pitch, # blades, al or ss:
Boat brand & style:
Current wide open throttle rpm (observed - not what the mfg says):
Current maximum speed:
Normal load (light - medium - heavy):
If you don't know what prop you have, look at the barrel of the prop for some numbers. If there are none there, remove the prop nut and look at the hub. Any numbers are better than "I don't know what I have". If you don't know -- we for darned sure don't know!
