Yintage Evinrude

I have a Evinrude Big Twin Modl Number 40352D. The Serial Number is EO1853
The 14 ft Glasspar boat is a 1961 so I think the motor is the same year. Everything seemed to be in good shape . in nutgural it seemewd to run out rea well. As soon as its put in gear it bogs down and almost dies. Anyone got a clue whats going on?

I would do a spark check. You might be running on one cylinder. I would pull the flywheel and check your coils. If they're cracked, then they'll need replacing.

Your motor is a 1963 model.
