I now have more items stuck together permanently than God ever intended! 
<br /><br />Must say though that the stringer install is going better than expected, although slower than I anticipated. That raises a curious question though..<br /><br />Should I attempt to duplicate the thickness of the layup that existed when the crummy factory stringers were laid up? I'm laying 1 layer of 1 1/2oz mat, followed by a overlaid layer of 17oz bi-axial, followed by 2 more layers of 1 1/2 oz mat, but it still seems thinner than what was originally there. I'll grant that the original was a mixture of mat and chopper glass, and was not adhered in many places, and not even wetted in more areas than was probably safe, but I still think it was much thicker (1/8" or so) than what I have now. <br /><br />BTW, it's stitched epoxy mat I'm using, I researched it thoroughly....<br /><br />Thanks!<br />Roger
